I just finished reading the autobiography Muscle: Confessions of an Unlikely Bodybuilder, exploring the disturbing world of bodybuilding and steroids. It got me thinking about addictions and I’ll post soon about the cycle of addiction (alcohol and other drugs, gambling, hoarding, shopping, sex, eating disorders, body image disorders) to help authors portray addiction accurately in their stories.
