I prefer series. I'm one of those people that gets super attached to characters, and I keep wanting to know more and more about their worlds. If I'm picking a random book to read, it'll probably 80% of the time be in a series.

As long as the books are strong enough to stand on their own I don't mind series. Sometimes though the books are only complete if you read them all. I don't really like that.

It just depends. Sometimes I just want to read one book, sometimes I wish the story continued 🙂

Series, especially when they have the same main characters instead of a new couple, though most series have a new main couple.

I prefer Standalone books mainly because I don't like having to wait for the next book in a series. I am very impatient and I know it takes a while for books to be released all the time.

I prefer stand-alone books. I like series if each can be read as a stand-alone, not giving away the plot to the other books in the series.

I have no preference. There are merits to stand alones and series and I love them equally. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I like them both, however, in a series I do like the novel to be complete on its own with no cliffhangers.

I absolutely love series…but I think I prefer stand a lone novels. I just hate having to wait (sometimes) YEARS for the next book in an installment to come out, and then I always forget what happened in the first book. Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂

I like both! But if it's a series, I like to be able to pick up any book in the series and still enjoy it. No crazy stories that make no sense unless you read them all…

I prefer standalone novels. That way it doesn't seem like a long, unfinished project to read all the books in a series.
